Anna Book looks for Swedish comeback

She had her first taste of the glamour and glitz of Eurovision selections singing ABC in the Melodifestivalen 1986. But now, twenty years later, it seems that Swedish singer Anna Book is poised to make something of a comeback on the Eurovision Schlager scene in Sweden, both on the Junior scene and perhaps even in the Melodifestivalen.

Together with Kitty Jutbring, Anna will co-present the Lilla melodifestivalen, Sweden's selection process for the Nordic Junior Contest which Sweden, Denmark and Norway will participate in later this year.

Not only that, but Anna has announced that she has written several entries for the grown-up Melodifestivalen 2007. It would be "fantastic", she admits, to be in the selection again, and with preliminary judges sifting through entries from next week, it will soon be clear if Anna has made the grade.

What will certainly help is the success of her Summer hit Let's dance this year, which set the comeback wheel rolling. Will fans see Anna back in the MF after twenty years away? All will be revealed soon!
