Romanian pop phenomenon Mihai Traistariu, fresh from a fourth place for his country at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, has unveiled his sleek new website with an edgy, futuristic theme.

Mihai, complete with Matrix-style long leather coat and brandishing a sword, greets visitors to the site as they land on its splash page. Inside the site, the handiwork of Romanian company Victor Design, the pages are replete with biographical information, song lyrics, news and pictures (many of them taken from his Eurovision 2006 adventures in Athens). There are also links to his fanclub, and contact information for fan mail.

Mihai and his Eurovision entry Tornero are currently up for the award of Best Male Hit at the Romanian Hit Awards, after receiving an immense amount of airplay at home and abroad. As the second most successful Romanian Eurovision entrant, the new site comes at a crucial time in the development of his international musical career.
