This year's football world championship includes a Eurovision Song Contest related highlight: Ruslana, who represented Ukraine in 2004 with Wild dances, will come to Germany for a number of concerts.

Not only for football fans are the FIFA Fan Fests in the 12 host cities of the FIFA World Cup 2006. The football matches will be shown on huge screens at the Fan Fest venues, some of which are situated in the city centre, others at huge party areas with capacities of up to 50,000 people. Besides every day a varied music and entertainment program is planned.

The opening ceremony of the 2006 Worldcup takes place tomorrow.
