Israel's Shiri Maimon, who ended in a celebrated fourth place for her country at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, takes her success across the Atlantic with a guest performance in the US.

Shiri will appear as a guest singer in Los Angeles on fellow Israeli artist, Rami Kleinstein's tour. Rami himself has performed in L.A. on several occasions, but this time is the first occasion he brings his band, The 2nd Council, along.

25-year-old Shiri has already made guest appearances on the Israeli leg of Rami's tour. Speaking of their collaboration together, Shiri said "Singing brings out the good chemistry we have".

The runner-up to Israel's first Idols style TV contest, Shiri has gone from strength to strength after navegating Israel successfully through the 2005 Eurovision semifinal, and landing a coveted top five placing.

Shiri Maimon will perform with Rami Kleinstein at the Los Angeles Avalon on 5th June. If you happen to be in L.A. at the time, you can find out more about tickets by calling (818) 986-7332.
