This Thursday, 1st of June (International Children's Day), Romanian national public broadcaster TVR will broadcast the national selection for the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Out of the 45 songs sent to TVR, 38 were eligible for being enlisted, out of which a special jury has selected the 21 songs that will participate in the final selection. As in all the other Romanian selections for both the Junior Eurovision Song Contest as well as the Eurovision Song Contest, the song will be chosen based on the votes received from the public by tele-vote (50%) and from the jury (50%).
The show will be broadcast live not only in Romania by TVR 1, but all over the world, via satellite (on TVR International channel) and online on tvr.ro/webcast The list of the 21 songs and their interpreters;
