According to two Belgian newspapers, the outfit Kate Ryan is going to wear on the semifinal night costs EUR 14.000,-. The dress of the Belgian Eurovision Song Contest representative has been designed by famous Boris Schipper of Art of Vanity. Half of the budget has been spend on the dress itself, the other half on shoes and accessories.
The Swarovski crystals on the dress are sponsored, the shoes with an 11 centimetre high heel, were hand made and cost EUR 750,-. The earrings cost approximately EUR 5.000,- and are made of gold, saphires and diamonds. The dress itself is orange.
VRT, the Flemish public broadcaster, insured the outfit. Just in case…!
