Monaco's second rehearsal was a great improvement on the first, and Séverine Ferrer turned in a much stronger, sultry performance with the whole group on stage now in costume.

As ever, she starts on the shoulders of her two male dancers, now topless with baggy scarlet swashbuckling pants and glittering belts. Her female entourage now wear bikinis and grass skirts to complete the sunshine scene with Séverine in a sheer pink and yellow number.

Coming together
As the lead vocalist, she now seems tobedancing lessand concentrating more on her voice, which definitely has the desired effect. The whole presentation has started to feel like the fun that was intended in La coco-dance, and by the final run-through, the performance had become much smoother and more like what Monaco will need to make a good impression in the semifinal.

The percussion break is now particularly strong, with mobile camera shots circling and weaving through the dancers.

The general impression in the hall was much better, although the whole team will need to use the remaining dress rehearsals wisely in order to maximise the Monegasquechances.
