The Portuguese delegation will be going to Athens on 11th May as the first rehearsal of Nonstop will be on 12th May. Meanwhile, the Portuguese Broadcaster RTP keeps on promoting the Portuguese song as well as displaying the videos of the songs in competition for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest through a 7 minute daily program on RTP1, RTPInternacional and RTP África at 12:55 (Portuguese time).
Eládio Clímaco andIsabel Angelinoare part of the Portuguesedelegation. Eládio will once again be the commentator for the Portuguese viewers, whereas Isabel will be working as a reporter for RTP. Isabel announced the results of the Portuguese televoting in 2004 and 2005.
Dino Alves will be in charge of the outfit of Nonstop. Alves was also responsible for the outfit of 2B, the Portuguese representative in the last year's Eurovision Song Contest. The choreography of the Portuguese girl band will be done by Marco de Camillis, who also performed this duty with 2B. It is unknown yet who will be thespokesperson of the Portuguese jury.
Because 2B came 17th with 51 points in the semi final last year, Portugal has to enter the semi final of the 51st Eurovision Song Contest.
