The performance Eurovision by the Portuguese theatre group Teatro Praga will be presented in London at the Blue Elephant Theatre, from the 3rd to the 6th of May.

With Eurovision, a performance of a particular view is proposed, an object as tremendous as Europe and at the same time as small as a ridiculous addiction. Each uttered word will signify a new world order and going back (in the game and in words) its giving all up. The borders are finally opened, and a construction of a narrative is trying to be held with the old continent as a starting point, a long and diced contest where only the best (of the best) wins. A multi-language performance in three moments: Past, Present and Future.

The performance is by Martim Pedroso and Pedro Penim, in a collaboration with André Teodósio, Rogério Nuno Costa and Pedro Pires. Among them, it stands out the name of Pedro Penim as he is a huge Eurovision Song Contest fan who has attended the live shows of the contest since 2002. On the other hand, Penim is also a popular TV host working for the Disney channel in Portugal.

In Lisbon the Eurovision show was quite successful. Now the show moves to London. The show starts at 7.45 pm (CET) each night, lasts 50 minutes and the price for tickets is £5.
