Dima Bilan to perform in Israel next week

Israeli websites Ynet.co.il and Nrg.co.il report that the Russian entrant to the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, Dima Bilan, will arrive in Israel next week.

Dima Bilan will arrive in Israel next week. Bilan will arrive as part of a respectable group of Russian pop stars who will perform in Israel in favour of the large Russian community in the country. Bilan will perform with this group in 4 Israeli cities: Tel Aviv, Haifa, Ashkelon and Jerusalem. In addition, Dima Bilan will be a guest in various television shows in order to promote his Eurovision Song Contest's entry Never let you go. The Russian entrant is also scheduled to meet with the Israeli hope for the Eurovision Song Contest this year, Eddie Butler. Dima Bilan will sing for Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest's semifinal in Athens, on May 18th.

Another 2006 entrant which is expected to arrive in Israel next week is the Greek entrant, Anna Vissi, although reports regarding a possible visit by Vissi haven't been confirmed yet.
