Last Friday night, the Croatian entry singer for the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, Severina celebrated her Birthday party with the enthusiastic crowd present at OGAE MALTA's Big Fun event at Velo Lounge – Lo Squero (Floriana).

Currently the Croatian singer, Severina is in Malta as part of her promotour. Her visit was made possible thanks to the collaboration with the Maltasong Board and the Ministry of Culture.

One of the surprises prepared for the fans present at the event organised by the official Eurovision fan club in Malta – OGAE MALTA was the celebration of Severina's Birthday Party together with the Croatian star herself. Upon her arrival, fans gathered around her taking photos with her, asking for autographs and to speak Eurovision issues with her. She was really happy to meet every one present at the party.

Suddenly, a choir made of local singers Claudia Faniello, Natasha & Charlene, Audrey Marie Bartolo and Mauro Kitcher sang the Happy Birthday song to Severina. A birthday cake was offered to her and she even blew the candles while making her wish. Severina cut the cake and everyone was offered a piece from Severina's birthday cake.

Severina expressed her joy and she even commented that this will be a birthday party that she will never forget. Severina also talked about the Eurovision fans in Malta and described them as “having children's eyes filled with love and joy”. She even went a step further saying that she has never met so many nice people in one place – and that is thanks to Ogae Malta's Big Fun event – The meeting which turned into a huge party!
