Due to holidays in Israel, the country of EuroJoint alliance member EurovIL (IBA), an extra Eurovision Song Contest is available these days to watch online. We're going back to 1995!
The EBU decreased the number of participants back to 23 to make sure the show wouldn't last longer than three hours. Five of the six countries that were relegated last year came back to the contest, Luxembourg decided to stop participating totally and Italy withdrew voluntarily, as in 1993. The bottom seven countries of 1994 were relegated. Because it was the 40th edition of the contest, the program started with a three-minute compilation of previous contests. The winning song came from Norway and the lyrics consisted of 24 words.
You can find the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest in the multimedia selection of our EuroJoint partner EurovIL. Enjoy the show!
