Esctoday.com can confirm that the release of the United Kingdom's 2006 Eurovision Song Contest entry, Teenage life , will be on Monday May 8th. We can also reveal that Daz Sampson and his backing group will be performing a spectacular set on the upcoming BBC show Boom bang a bang .
The release date has dropped back in order for Daz to fit in his promotion schedule both inside the United Kingdom and across Europe. We will announce the international release dates as soon as they are confirmed.
We can also reveal that one of the most asked questions about the entry: “how will the backing group sound when they sing the children's vocals live?' will be put to rest on the upcoming BBC show Boom bang a bang.
The show will not only feature some of the most memorable footage from 50 years of the Eurovision Song Contest, but there will also be previously unseen footage, including the United Kingdom's first entry at the competition!
Daz will perform his entry Teenage Life with the backing chorus in a live set, so fans will be able to hear how the performance will be live. The performance will be recorded live during filming of the show on Wednesday 19th April. The show will be aired on May 13th, a day before the song is expected to enter the UK charts in the top 10.
