Austrian broadcaster to air final

According to the website ESC Austria, Austrian broadcaster ORF will broadcast the final of the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. If the semifinal will also be aired by ORF is yet unknown. Austria withdrew from the contest after last year's disappointing result.

In case ORF doesn't air the semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest, which seems unlikely, Austrian viewers can still follow the contest through the German broadcaster NDR.

To be able to return next year, in case ORF should wish, it's obligated to air this year's event. If ORF has the intention to turn back in 2007 is unknown.
