The 2006 Eurovision Song Contest is on its way and Greek channel MadTV, in cooperation with host broadcaster ERT, is introducing ERT Eurovision Channel. This new 24 hour music channel is dedicated exclusively to the contest and it is aired through position 5 of the digital platform NOVA.

Mad, which maintains Greece's biggest musical file records, with thousands of videoclips, songs, interviews, articles and artists' biographies, broadcasts over 160 hours of music programmes a day (Mad TV, Mad World, 5 radio stations Mad Music). With the contribution of the valuable record of ERT, they have created a very interesting new TV channel, ERT Eurovision Channel, which is aired since 20th May and will be available until 25th May.

Lucky viewers can watch past editions of the contests, music programmes with the most interesting and historical live appearances of the contestants during the 50 years of the contest, top-10 from different categories like best groups,best duets, divas, cult appearances, sexy appearances, outsider hits etc. Also there are statistics, information and behind the scenes, so that the viewer can get a better information and everybody “feel the rhythm”.

The channel is also broadcasting special tributes to well-known artists, such as Helena Paparizou, Sakis Rouvas, ABBA, Céline Dion, and can watch from first hand the preparations of Anna Vissi and her tour.
