Mariana Popova will represent Bulgaria at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. With 24 percent of the votes, she won with the song Let me cry, written by Elina Gavrilova and composed by Dani Milev.

From 1996 until 2000 she was part of the group Cocomania. Last year she took part in the Bulgarian national selection as well, together with Vasil Naidenov, Roberta and Orlin Goranov, reaching a 5th spot.

About herself, Mariana says that she dreams of never to stop dreaming, that she appreciates the really talented people, that she believes in herself and in reincarnation and that she would like to have “a dinner with the singer Marc Anthony”.

Due to Kaffe's disappointing result in Kyiv, Mariana will have to enter the semifinal of the 51st Eurovision Song Contest on 18th May in Athens, Greece.
