Israeli website Walla.co.il reports today that Tzipi Mash'hid's song in next week's Kdam-Eurovision has been disqualified, since Israeli singer, Ishtar, had already included it in her album.

Tzipi Mash'hid was supposed to perform the song Hozer Ele'ha in the Kdam-Eurovision next week. The IBA now decided to disqualify the song, for it had already been recorded by Ishtar and included in one of her albums. 'We decided to allow Tzipi Mash'hid to perform with another song in the contest', said the official comment by IBA. And so, Tzipi Mash'hid will perform the song Tzipor Stav (Autumn bird) in the Israeli national final.

The 2006 Kdam-Eurovision will be held in Jerusalem on March 15th.
