As we are writing, the BBC presents its 2006 Making your mind up participants, who are in the running for the UK ticket to the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest.

The British selection for the 51st Eurovision Song Contest takes place on 4th March and will be hosted by Sir Terry Wogan and Natasha Kaplinsky. As the United Kingdom is one of the 'Big4' countries, the winner of Making your mind up takes part in the final of the contest on 20th May in Athens, Greece.
