Ten participants will compete for five final tickets tonight, bringing Cyprus closer to the selection of its 2006 Eurovision Song Contest representative, scheduled to take place on 22nd February. The first semifinal took place yesterday, tonight's event again takes place in CyBC's studios.

The participants;

3. Evagoras Evagorou & Chrisi Antreou – Land of yesterday
4. Theodoti Alexandrou – Night's shadows
5. Marios Tofi – Congratulations
6. Konstantinos Andronikou – Everytime I close my eyes
7. Patrick Babak – We all are heroes
8. Antonis Poorkou & Helena Georgiou – To s'agapo
9. Valanto Trifonos – Ater you
10. Eleni Skarpari – Don't…crack…now

Televoters will decide which five songs will be heard again in the final. Azucar Moreno and Chiara will feature as interval acts tonight.

After yesterday's semifinal, the following artists and songs qualified for the final;

� Andreas Konstantinidis – Love on the weekend
� Marina Solonos – I'm a fighter
� Eleni Andreou – Just your smile
� Nick Nikolaou & Vicky Anastassiou – Funky

Because of Cyprus' disappointing result, last year, the Cypriot representative has to take place in the semifinal of the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, on18th May in Athens.
