The live voting tally for Ti-zirka, the casting-style selection round of the Ukrainian Eurovision preparations for 2006, is available online, and Tina Karol is currently a long stretch ahead of her rivals in both the phone and SMS poll.

Stanislav Konkin, Natalia Volkova and Taras Dobrovolskiy are currently fighting over the lowest positions, and therefore in the danger zone for relegation tomorrow evening. The journey will end for the two unlucky contestants with the lowest number of votes.

The number of participants already decreased unexpectedly this week, as Olga Sviridenko pulled out due to ill health. Last week saw the first three singers received their marching orders. Jevgenia Saharova, Daria Minejeva and Anastasiya Lushnikova all lost their bid to stay on in Ti-zirka.

The Ukrainian preparations come to a head on 11th March, when the winning song and singer will be selected. Due to Greenjolly's disappointing placing for Ukraine in 2005, this year's representative will have to perform in the Eurovision semifinal on 18th May.
