Turkish broadcaster TRT will decide today on the song that they will send to the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest with internally chosen singer Sibel Tüzün.

Sibel Tüzün prepared three songs and presented them to TRT recently. A committee will decide on the song they feel offers the best chances at the contest. The song will be premiered at a press conference on 15th March.

All three songs have been presented in their original Turkish versions, though Tüzün has also prepared both English and Greek vocals for each song. However, media state that TRT accepted Tüzün's candidature under the strict condition she will sing it in Turkish at the contest.

Sibel recently spoke of preparations for the contest and said that she is eager to make sure she works hard on the choreography for Athens, promising a big show, declaring that her ambition was to make sure Turkey will end in the top three.

Update: According to our colleagues of Songfestival web-log, the chosen song will be made public in a televisionshow on March 4th.
