Today, the 9 semi finalists of the French casting show Entrée d'Artistes were announced. The four best placed singers in the contest will compete in the French national final.

Last year Ortal places 23rd in the final of the 50th Eurovision Song Contest with her song Chacun pense à soi. Due to France being one of the Big 4 they will enter the final directly of the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest in Athens in May.
