Starting from Monday 30th January, fans of Eurovision Song Contest can buy tickets to the Latvian National Final. The concert which will be broadcast live on Latvian Television (LTV) will start at 21:00 local time. Venue � Olympic Centre in Ventpils.
As reported before, the semi-finals will be broadcast by LTV on February 4 and 11. The taping of entries will start today, January 26, and will be completed by January 28. Every second song will qualify for the final and this choice will be made by both audience and jury.
There will be also a dress rehearsal with audience on the same date, at 15:00 local time. Tickets� price � 4 – 10 Lats for a ticket to the final, or 2 Lats – to see the dress rehearsal. The tickets are available in the box offices of �Bilesu Paradize�.
The invited guests will make the Final a spectacular event – Walters & Kazha, last year�s winners of the Latvian National Final who took the fifth place in Kyiv, as well as a sensation of the Latvian entertainment business. Borowa MC , beating former Latvian representatives BrainStorm in many top award ceremonies lately, will be singing and rapping in a East Latvian dialect. The list of guests is still open to surprise you. And as every year we expect guests from other participating countries.
Ventpils where the Latvian National Final will also take place this year is one of the biggest cities in Latvia with a well-developed economical infrastructure. It has many tourist attractions which cannot be missed. It takes only 2 hours drive to get from Riga, the capital, to Ventpils.
