James Fox, the UK participant in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, goes from strength to strength in his stage career as he continues his starring role in the musical Movin' out. This time he brings the show back to his homeland as a run of the musical begins in London's West End.

Fox, fresh from touring with the show on Broadway and North America, plays the lead vocal role of the Piano Man in Movin' out. The musical was created around the music of Billy Joel, and tells the story of a group of firm friends facing two turbulent decades together in the USA.

It is not the first time that Fox, famous in the UK for his appearance in the second series of Fame academy, has taken to the stage. He has already starred in a British tour of Jesus Christ, superstar, to critical acclaim.

Other UK artists to have musical theatre links include Michael Ball (UK 1992) and Frances Ruffelle (UK 1994), although both were already established stage stars before their Eurovision participation.

The show Movin' out is scheduled to run at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre from 28th March to 17th July, before embarking upon a tour of Europe.
