The 12 hopefulls for the Ukrainian 2006 Eurovision Song Contest selection Ti-zirka are known! One of them will represent Ukraine at the semifinal of the 51th edition of the contest.

Ukraine's new-born stars will participate in a weekly television show. During the first show, the preparations will be covered, while the actual performances start in the second week. The names;

� Taras Dobrovolskiy

To determine who will have to leave, a 50/50 voting with a jury and televoting has been chosen. During the second show, the three bottom-placed participants will have to pack their bags. During the third show, the preparations will be covered again, while another battle takes place during the fourth event, forcing three more singers to go home. After another preparation show, the final decision will be taken during last event (with three participants). Eight shows are scheduled, what happens in the other two shows is unknown yet.

The first edition of the Ti-zirka finals takes place on 21st January, the final has been scheduled for 11th March. Maria Orlova, who hosted last year's Ukrainian national selection, will host this year's selection as well.
