After Irina Rosenfeld and Natalia Volkova, the Ukrainian audience selected Jevgeniya Saharova and Daria Minejeva to proceed in the next round of the selection, Ti-zirka. The final show to select Ukraine's Eurovision Song Contest participant is scheduled for 11th March.

Ukraine entered the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 with Olexandr and the song Hasta la vista, which ranked 14th. In 2004, Ruslana won for Ukraine with the song Wild dances. In 2005, Ukraine came 19th in the final.
