Bulgarian national broadcaster BNT announced its plans for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, confirming participation in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest.
The deadline for song submission is set for 20th January. 24 songs will be selected and on 4th February BNT will announce the participants.
The national final takes place on 11th March, in which 12 partipating entries will compete after a preliminary selection on 25th February.
In 2005, the band Kaffe failed to qualify for the final.
