Tonight, the final of the Albanian Festivali i Kënges with 20 contestants takes place in Tirana. The participants were announced at a press conference this morning. Albania will be the first nation selecting a song for the 51st Eurovision Song Contest publically. Only Switzerland has already picked a song, to be performed by Six4One.

Anjeza Shahini represented Albania in 2004 with The image of you and finished 7th. Miriam Cani is a part of the German girlgroup Preluders. Eri ft. Perfect Bliss is a Dutch group.

Due to Albania's disappointing result earlier this year, the selected participant has to enter the semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest, on 18th May in Athens, Greece.
