Earlier, it was already made public Ukraine will choose its next participant through the talent scout format Ti-zirka. Now it seems Ukraine is likely to choose its 2006 Eurovision Song Contest participant on 18th March. In several talent scout shows, starting on 10th December, the 2005 host country will select the successor of Greenjolly.
In December, six casting days will take place to find 12 participants. As from 28th January, they have to compete against eachother. It seems three participants will have to compete for the ticket to Athens in the last show on 18th March.
Due to Greenjolly's disappoining result, the 2006 Ukrainian Eurovision Song Contest participant will have to start in the semifinal on 18th May in Athens, Greece.
