On 26th November, the third edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes place in Hasselt, Belgium. Day by day, until next week, esctoday.com will present you the 16 participants, two per day. Today: Joni Fuller (United Kingdom) and the two Maria's (Sweden).
5. United Kingdom – Joni Fuller – How does it feel
The United Kingdom, one of the most successful countries in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest since the contest was founded in 2003, is sending Joni Fuller to Hasselt. With her performance of the song How does it feel, 13 year-old Joni Fuller reached the first place in the United Kingdom's national final. Joni is a real Junior Eurovision Song Contest fan and proud to represent her country in Hasselt. This year's British representative is a talented musician, singer and songwriter. Jony is preparing for some surprises in Hasselt and already revealed that she will be playing the violin on stage of the third edition of the junior contest!
6. Sweden – M+ – Gränslös kärlek
Sweden will be represented by Maria Chabo and Maria Josefson. Both girls are 15 years old and won Lilla Melodifestivalen as M+. Maria Chabo and Maria Josefson live in Norrköping. They became close friends as soon as they met at the beginning of the 7th grade and started singing and writing music together. They regularly perform at school and sing their own songs as well as cover versions. Maria Chabo is the leader of a youth church choir. Maria Josefson likes dancing. With the song Gränslös kärlek, the girls will be trying to give Sweden a good result at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the first time. Both in 2003 and 2004, Sweden finished 15th.
