At 12:30 CET, a press conference took place. During the conference in Copenhagen's City Hall, Mayor Mads Lebech welcomed the guests and the European Broadcasting Union's TV Director Bjørn Erichsen explained more about the role of the Eurovision Song Contest in Europe. The hosts of tomorrow's show, Katrina and Renars, were presented and Signe K, runner-up in the Danish national selection for this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest, performed. The Olsen Brothers also performed two songs. More about the press conference can be expected later today!

Although it was already known that host broadcaster DR was particulary focussing on tomorrow's show, not everyone was enthusiastic about the press facilities provided by DR. “When the press centre opened, it appeared there was no electricity available for laptops and there was no internet connection”, editor Olivier Vanhoutte wrote.
