Martin A/S, a Danish lighting company, started with building the lighting rings in the Parken. More than 1700 lights in different styles are to be need in the Parken. It will use more than 4.2 million watts to operate the lights. Martin A/S is not unknown in the Eurovision world.

On the picture you see the lighting during the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix in the Danish city of Herning earlier this year. This lighting was spectaculair because of the many features and the way it looked like for the local publich ànd the television viewers.

The package includes nearly 900 automated, computer-controlled fixtures including over 700 of the company�s most successful and popular lights, MAC luminaries. The massive rig also includes over 1000 conventional luminaries. Martin A/S is not unknown in the Eurovision scene ! The company provided the lighting for the Danish national final, during the Eurovision Song Contest in Jeruzalem (1999) and last years edition in Sweden, Stockholm ! In comparison, last year�s Eurovision show in Stockholm incorporated over 300 computer-controlled fixtures, now this will be approximately 900 !
