Dana is an internationally known singer and a political activist, elected as representative from Ireland to the European Union. She is more commonly known however for her winning performance of All kinds of everything at the 1970 Eurovision Song Contest representing Ireland.

She came in third in a run for President of Ireland, sang Totus tuus for the Holy Father's United States tour in 1987 and also We are one bBody for the Father's visit in 1993. Dana has won international prizes as a composer, has starred on European media, and won the prestigious Prize of San Benedetto for her political advocacy.

Her afternoon presentation at 13:15 (local time) on Tuesday 18th October 2005 in the Science Centre Auditorium, Walsh University (2020 East Maple Street NW, North Canton, Ohio, USA) will be a largely autobiographical account of her life's path, in terms of career and convictions. The evening performance at 19:30 in the David Center Atrium in the University will be primarily singing.
