Shiri Maymon, who represented Israel in this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, won yesterday the award of Israel's Leading Musical Figure of the year.

The jewish year is about to come to an end in a few weeks. For this occasion Israel's Channel 2 broadcast yesterday the annual Figures of the Year ceremony. Shiri Maymon, who reached the 4th place in this year's Eurovision Song Contest, won the award of Leading Musical Figure of the Year, following her Eurovision success and her meteoric rise in popularity in Israel in recent months.
