Under the slogan 'Et regalem una nova tele' ('We give away a brand new tellie'), the public broadcaster of Andorra, RTVA, launched its new brand identity to celebrate the start of a new television season.
Representing the small country and its winter image, a blue triangle in a white environment represents the small country in optimal shape. Eager as RTVA is, the new brand identity is widely communicated to the people of Andorra in television ads and through banners in the streets of Andorra la Vella, the capital of the small state.
RTVA didn't reveal its plans for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest yet. When we asked Andorran representative Marian van de Wal about a possible second try, she said: “I think it's not a good idea to represent Andorra twice in a row, but we made jokes about that on the home flight from Kyiv”. So far, there is no reason to believe Andorra won't be present in Athens.
Earlier this year, Denmark's DR, Belgium's first channel and Romania's TVR launched new identities.
