Tonight, the second Eurokids semifinal takes place. In a show jointly organised by the Dutch speaking community broadcaster VRT and the French speaking community broadcaster RTBF, three participants from Flanders and three from the French community in Belgium, will compete for a place in the final. In next week's final, the three best scoring semifinal songs in Dutch and the three best scoring songs in French will meet again.

The following participants will perform tonight;

Voting
Four juries (the professionals, the radio jury, a youth jury and the televoters) decide. The professionals are Mélanie Cohl, who represented Belgium at the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest, VRT commentator André Vermeulen, former Eurosong jury member Marcel Vanthilt and singer/actress Viktor Lazlo, who hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in 1987.
Interval act
Clouseau, the Belgian representatives at the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest with Geef het op, will perform the interval act. Unfortunately just for the Flemish audience, as RTBF will show commercials during the interval act.
