Sir Cliff Richard, whose song Congratulations is one of the 14 qualified songs for the best Eurovision Song Contest entry ever, will not appear on stage in Copenhagen for the 50th anniversary show in October.

Sir Cliff Richard has announced through his website that he will not be in Copenhagen on 22nd October. So far, many other former participants have stated that they wont be present either.

There are however many who have confirmed their presence in Copenhagen: Vicky Leandros, who represented Luxembourg twice (1967 with L'amour est bleu and 1972 with Après toi, which won the contest), have confirmed. Sandra Kim, Belgium 1986, J'aime la vie, announced her presence through an interview on the official website Eurovision.tv.

The Olsen Brothers have announced there presence, their 2000 winning song Fly on the wings of love is also qualified for competition. Dana International, winner in 1998 with Diva will also be in Copenhagen, as her website tells. She will be joined by Sertab Erener, Everyway that I can, 2003), Helena Paparizou My number one, 2005 and of course Johnny Logan, represented in Copenhagen with two songs: What's another year, 1980 and Hold me now, 1987.

The anniversary show Congratulations will be held in the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen on 22nd October. Exactly what all the invited artists will perform during the show is not known and will probably be kept secret. Most likely they will all be part of a gigantic potpourri of old hits from the Eurovision history.

The 14 songs participating in the competition in order to become the all-time Eurovision Song Contest winner will be shown as videorecordings of their original performances they once did in history, according to the latest information from official sources.
