Melodifestivalen stars giving free concerts
Tonight Alcazar, 3rd place this year in the Swedish Melodifestivalen will give a free-concert in the Stockholm suburb of Vantör, a place that has a quite bad reputation. It seems that local politicians put their hopes on Alcazar. A well-known band with an air of disco-glamour might be a good recipe in order to create a better public reputation for this suburb.
Tomorrow a commercial radio-channel invites all people in Stockholm City to a huge free open-air concert. The programme mainly consists of former Melodifestivalen participants but also this years winner at the Eurovision Song Contest Helena Paparizou. She together with Nanne Grönvall, Shirley Clamp, Jill Johnsson and BWO are only a few of the names performing tomorrow. People in Stockholm are indeed being spoiled with so much great Melodifestivalen concerts now given away for free!
