The Belarussian national selection for the third Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes place on 24th September. Broadcaster BT announced that earlier this week. It was known that songs can be submitted until 9th September.
The rules of competition have been published in the newspaper Soviet Belorussia and can be found on BT's website. Anyone between 8 and 15 years old can submit songs. A maximum of 10 songs for the national selection will be chosen by a professional jury.
The national final will consist of two rounds, in which the representative will be chosen by a jury ánd televoting.
In 2003, Volha Satsuk represented Belarus with her song Tantsui and placed 4th with 103 points. In 2004, Yahor Volchek placed 14th with 9 points with his song Spjavajtse so mnoj.
