Russian pop singer Alsou, runner-up in the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest is starring in a British horror movie called Spirit trap, which will be released tomorrow in the United Kingdom. She plays the quite, insane girl Tina who is one of five students to rent a haunted house.
'My character is very quiet and calm, and at the same time she is full of mystery and ready to die for love', Alsou told a Russian newspaper about her role. 'I really like her, although in real life I wouldn�t like to be in her place'. She also wrote one of the songs featuring the soundtrack.
The official website of the movie describes the content like this: 'When five young students move into an old unoccupied mansion, an unexplicable chain of events is set into motion as a mysterious spirit clock starts to tick again. As the story unfolds, revealing each student�s dark secrets. The boundary between the real world and the afterlife is no longer clear. Will they find a way to escape or will they be trapped with the spirits forever?'
