Nicki French, who represented the United Kingdom at the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest with Don't play that song again, will feature as one of the many artists at the Stockholm Pride, which started on Monday.

Nicki French returns to Stockholm, after she ended 16th at the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest which took place in the Swedish capital.

Earlier this week, on Thursday, more Eurovision Song Contest related artists will appear in the SchlagerPride. In order to make the event exciting, the line-up of SchlagerPride is kept secret until the very last moment. Edward af Sillén, producer of the event, promises that more than 30 of the most appreciated Eurovision Song Contest and Melodifestivalen artists will take the stage.

Linda Bengtzing and Arja Saijonmaa, both contestants at Melodifestivalen 2005, and Belgium's 2004 Eurovision Song Contest representative Xandee already revealed their presence in Stockholm. The popular Swedish artist Jill Johnsonn will most likely not appear as she will be performing at a country festival outside Stockholm.

Today, the former Melodifestivalen participants Alcazar, Afro-Dite, Papa Dee and Pay-TV will be performing. Helena Paparizou, who lives nearby, is also expected to show up at Stockholm Pride, most likely at the closing gala on Sunday.

An esctoday.com team is on its way to Stockholm to offer you a coverage from SchlagerPride and keep you updated on special events throughout the week.

Update: Nicki French will perform on the closing gala, which takes place on Sunday, instead of during the SchlagerPride on Thursday, the official Stockholm Pride website says.
