The 2005 Eurovision Song Contest representatives from Norway, the rock band Wig Wam, are ready to conquer Europe. While their Eurovision Song Contest entry In my dreams is occupying the first position in the Icelandic charts, the Wig Wam album Hard to be a rock'n roller is ready for international release.

Wig Wam have visited Iceland for promotion and a mini concert last weekend. 5000 fans gathered at Smaralind in Kópavogur. The interest in the Norwegian rockers was that big that a planned signing session was cancelled for safety reasons.

Wig Wam are currently occupying the first spot in both the Icelandic single charts with In my dreams and the album charts with Hard to be a rock'n roller. The next stop of Wig Wam was Denmark, where Hard to be a rock'n roller is out now too. Meanwhile the band is planning for a promotion tour in Germany, the next country to release Wig Wam.

Record company Napalm Record is preparing the release of Wig Wam in the German speaking countries with a massive promotion campaign. Wig Wam's Eurovision Song Contest entry In my dreams will be released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in August 2005.

In their own country, Wig Wam earlier reached the top of the single charts. Both the single In my dreams and the album Hard to be a rock'n roller have reached the golden status in Norway. In Kyv, the band finished 9th in the final of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest.
