As of tonight De rode loper, the daily showbiz program on the first channel of Flemish broadcaster VRT, starts reviewing 50 years of the Eurovision Song Contest. Every weekday in July and August, the program will end with one of the many Eurovision Song Contest entries that are still in the Flemings' memory.
André Vermeulen, VRT�s Eurovision Song Contest commentator since 1991, and Marcel Vanthilt, Eurosong jury member since 1999, will be reviving old Eurovision Song Contest memories. Classics such as Poupée de cire, poupée de son, Nel blu dipinto di blu (Volare) and Making your mind up of course won�t be missing, but also the bloopers will get attention.

Until 31st August the most memorable Eurovision Song Contest performances will be aired in De rode loper. The showbiz program, hosted by Martine Prenen and Yasmine, goes on air on Eén on weekdays at 18:10 CET.
