After returning home with the 4th place in this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, Shiri Maymon does not plan on resting on her laurels, as published today in Israeli paper Ma'ariv.

A new CD single of Shiri Maymon is expected very soon, as she is scheduled to finish recording her debut album in one month's time,in order for it to be on sale by the end of the summer. “Its vital that we keep the momentum caused by the success in Eurovision, but this will not affect the quality of materials we use”, says Maymon's personal manager, Naomi Alsheikh. “This week Shiri will return hosting 'Exit' (a television show for teenagers) and days later all decisions concerning her album will be taken” adds the manager.

Maymon's manager also promises the songs in the upcoming album will be ones that reflect Shiri's remarkable vocal abilities. Shiri's manager also told Ma'ariv that offers from producers in Europe have arrived after the contest in Kyiv, and it is likely that Shiri will leave soon to France to record some demos, although her first Hebrew album is at top priority.

Meanwhile, this year's winner from Greece, My number one by Helena Paparizou entered the Israeli radio chart of 100fm at number 23.
