This week will mark the beginning of the biggest Israeli pre-selection ever, as for the first time semi-final rounds will be held as well. The three semi-finals, where 10 participants will take part in each, will take place on this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Three songs will qualify from each semi-final to the final, and the 4th place will get at ticket to the Second Chance round.
In order to warm up, an opening party will take place tomorrow, Sunday (24 February), starting at 21:30 local time as a part of the ‘Eurovision Sundays’ at the Evita club in Tel Aviv.
The party will include a premiere of all participating artists. Furthermore, DJ Pini Zilber will play Eurovision hits from all times, the Euroflash band will perform the best of the Kdam-Eurovision and Eurovision songs, along with the original choreography.
The party is open to the public and everyone is invited.

Israel will take part in the second half of the second semi-final of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, and the winner of the Kdam will hope to wave the Israeli flag in the final of the contest, for the first time since 2010.
