The third round of the Swedish Eurovision national selection Melodifestivalen 2013 is about to kick off. The artists had their first rehearsal in Skellefteå, and the Swedish broadcaster (SVT) has made one minute long snippets public on their site, which you can find here.

Overall eight acts will be fighting for the two spots for the Stockholm final, and another two (the third and fourth placed) songs will move on to the Second Chance round which will be held in Karlstad.

The third heat will take place in Northern Sweden,  in the city named Skellefteå, on 16 February at 20:00 CET. The show will be aired on SVT1, SVT World and SVT HD and it will also be streamed live on SVT’s offical website.

The 8 acts to compete in the 3^rd heat are:

• Eddie Razaz  –  Alibi
• Elin Petersson – Island
• Ravaillacz – En riktig jävla schlager
• Amanda Fondell – Dumb
• Martin Rolinski – In and out of love
• Caroline af Ugglas – Hon har inte
• State of Drama – Falling
• Janet Leon – Heartstrings

The two winners will be joining David Lindgren, YOHIO, Sean Banan and Louise Hoffsten for the final, while the third and fourth placed acts will be in the run along with Cookies ‘N’ Beans, Eric Gadd, Anton Ewald and Eric Segerstedt & Tone Damli in the Second Chance round.
