HRT, the Croatian national broadcaster has informed esctoday.com that the the names of the artists that will compose the Klapa ensemble that will represent Croatia at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest will be announced tonight.

HRT will be revealing the names of the lucky artists that will represent Croatia in Malmo tonight during the 19.30 News on HRT 1. More details regarding the 2013 Croatian entry and representatives will be released too.

HRT, the Croatian national broadcaster  confirmed to esctoday.com last January  that a special  HRT jury selected the 2013 Croatian entry, titled Mizerija ( Misery or Sadness). The song is composed by Goran Topolovac, who hails from Duga Resa. HRT have also selected a reserve song titled Cili svit za bili cvi.  The names of the Croatian representatives are yet to be revealed.

Croatia debuted at the 1993 Eurovision Song Contest with Put’s Don’t ever cry. The country is yet to win the contest and their best placing at Europe’s favourite television show was in 1996 with Majda Blagdan and in 1999 with Doris Dragovic, achieving a 4th placing.
