The second semi-final in Latvia just ended and another six acts qualified and will join the six finalists that qualified from Friday’s show. Twelve acts competed in tonight’s show and six of them got through after a public and a jury vote. The show that took place at Palladium Concert Hall in Riga was hosted by Valmiera, Martin Meyer, Madara Botmane and Anta Aizupe. Last year’s Latvian hopeful Anmary performed in the second show of Dziesma 2013.

The final will take place on 16 February in Ventspils (the same venue as last year’s finals). Latvia will participate in the second semi-final of the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Malmö.
