Last night, the Portuguese delegation left from Lisbon to Kyiv at 11 p.m.. Nuno Figueira (head of the Portuguese delegation), Eládio Clímaco (commentator for RTP), and Tânia Ribas de Oliveira (RTP correspondent) are among the delegation.

Meanwhile, there was a problem with one of the girl dancers, Kelly, who is Brazilian and had no visa to enter in Ukraine. However, after some phone calls, the problem to get some documents is being resolved with the Ukrainian embassy and Kelly will be flying to Kyiv next Thursday. The girl dancers are Kelly, Eliana, Susan, and Loredana.

Furthermore, some eurovision fans were in the airport supporting the Portuguese delegation as Portugal wants to make it to the Final Contest on 21 May.

In order to keep the up enthusiasm in Portugal, the Portuguese Broadcaster RTP is going to transmit a programme on Portugal and the Eurovision Song Contest next Saturday 14 May at 9 p.m. on RTP 1 channel. This programme may also be broadcast internationally through RTPI on Saturday 14 May at 10 p.m. (CET).
