Nordic preview shows judged all semifinalists

The first three Nordic preview shows have been aired and the 25 songs taking part in the semifinal of the 2005 Eurovision Songs have been judged by an expert panel, including a judge from Iceland, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway.

Each of the five Nordic countries is represented by one judge, who can award 0 up to 5 points to each song. The five judges are Eirikur Hauksson for Iceland, Charlotte Perrelli for Sweden, Thomas Lundin for Finland, Keld Heick for Denmark and Jostein Pedersen for Norway.

During the first three preview shows, the 25 songs taking part in the semifinal of the 2005 Eurovision Songs have been judged. Ranking all songs according to the results given by the expert jury gives the following result.

The 10 countries to qualify for the final:

01. 24 points | Iceland
02. 20 points | Switzerland
02. 20 points | Norway
02. 20 points | Denmark
05. 19 points | Finland
06. 18 points | Hungary
07. 16 points | Latvia
07. 16 points | Belgium
09. 15 points | the Netherlands
10. 14 points | Austria

Will not qualify for the final according to the Nordic judges:

11. 13 points | Croatia
12. 12 points | Israel
13. 11 points | Romania
13. 11 points | Moldova
15. 10 points | Monaco
16. 09 points | Estonia
16. 09 points | Bulgaria
18. 08 points | Poland
18. 08 points | Belarus
18. 08 points | Lithuania
21. 07 points | Slovenia
22. 05 points | Portugal
22. 05 points | FYR Macedonia
24. 02 points | Andorra
24. 02 points | Ireland
